Starting with a white panel, I had done about half an hour before I thought of recording. Then after a break, I recorded this second 30 minute session for the video. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);line-height:1.5\">(I tried to record the next session, too, but I didn&#8217;t realize until after that my phone camera was on the wrong setting. It&#8217;s the largest artwork I&#8217;ve begun since I started landscape painting in 2022. I usually work on 9&#8243; x 12&#8243; or smaller, and I aim to take up no more space than I need while making art, because currently my studio consumes the dining half of the combo living\/dining room. No eating at the table in this household! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);line-height:1.5\">But even with art supplies piled everywhere, I try to maintain enough room on the other side of the table for Spouse to work on creative stuff regularly, too.&nbsp;Because everyone benefits from having time and space and resources for creative play. I\u2019d like to build up to painting en plein air around the village and participating in public demos by June (my local artist group is tentatively planning something). Eventually I hope to offer to teach painting class at <a href=\"https:\/\/peicommunityschools.com\/\">PEI Community School<\/a> of Murray Harbour (where I\u2019ve volunteered and taught knitting since 2023), so I will be brave and throw those intentions out there publicly, too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-right:0;padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-left:0;line-height:1.5\">One more reveal: I hope to finish and include this painting in the 2025 Art Show and Sale at <a href=\"https:\/\/macphailhomestead.ca\/\">Sir Andrew MacPhail Homestead<\/a> that will be happening in July.
